Within the hospitality or leisure sector, you will currently be in a similar training led role with full end to end responsibility for training needs analysis, designing and packaging the training tools and delivering training to end users.

You get into the nitty gritty detail with an operator’s mindset and speak their language. You understand and can engage with a broad range of stakeholders, see their point of view, explain the benefits of changing ways and then deliver tailored training to help them improve their performance.

Experience of working within a strong brand with a broad UK and possibly international presence would be beneficial.

Day to day, you will be on the ground at the coal face identifying the training issues and assessing the training needs. The next stage will involve you designing, creating and packaging the training material required to give the operators the ‘tools’ needed to close these performance gaps. Followed of course, by being back on the ground, delivering, rolling out and embedding the training with the operators.
