Our summer internship has a track record of empowering talented students to launch their careers and successful candidates will take part in an immersive experience in one of our business support functions (Sustainability, Finance, Risk, Procurement). You could be placed in any area of the business, so it’s important to keep an open mind, but our team will ensure that your interests and skills are taken into consideration and you’re placed in an area where you can excel and add value in a short space of time. Industry experts across the business will have requested for you to join them, so you’ll be expected to get stuck into exciting projects as well as day-to-day tasks. You’ll be given real responsibility from day one and we’ll encourage you to bring new ideas to the table to drive innovative solutions. You won’t be expected to join us with any prior knowledge; we’re looking for raw talent and firmly believe that the skills you’ve developed at university provide a valuable foundation to build on during your career with us. You won’t be alone either – you'll be assigned a mentor and be one of several interns joining, meaning you’ll have a strong network from day one and throughout your journey with us.

What can you expect?

  • The opportunity to lead on projects in a FTSE 100 company – if you perform well, there may be opportunities to continue working with us after your studies.
  • You’ll be joining with one of several interns, so you’ll have a strong network along with a comprehensive induction from day one.
  • To drive your own performance and learning – you’ll receive support, but the internship is challenging, and you’ll be expected to champion your own development.
  • Day-to-day your responsibilities will vary, depending on where you are placed.

What we’re looking for:

  • Graduates or students in their penultimate or final year of university.
  • You’ll need to be eligible to work in the UK without company sponsorship.
  • Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Computer literate, strong analytical mindset and a passion for problem solving.
  • Ability to work with data and information.

Key Info:

  • Salary: £26,300 pro-rata.
  • Duration – 8 weeks (Mon 27/07/26 – Fri 18/09/26).
  • Working hours – 37.5 per week, flexible.
  • Location: Hybrid, with one to two days per week in our Cardiff offices.
  • We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home.
