Overview

Job Role: Customer Service Assistant/Supervisor

Hours per week: 24

Hourly rate: £12.24-£12.74

Shift pattern: Monday-Sunday, Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Night Shift. Full flexibility across the week required, 3 out of 7 days.

If working between the hours of 11pm and 6am, you will receive an additional £1.50 per hour between those times.

Responsibilities

Our Customer Service Assistant/Supervisor roles hold primarily customer service duties. In the absence of management or supervisors on shift, you may be asked to step up and carry out supervisory duties until they return. You will be eligible for the higher hourly rate when performing supervisory duties. Responsibilities may include opening or closing a venue or access point, and supervising staff on shift in management or supervisor absence. You may also be required to carry and distribute change from the master float.

Key duties after training:

  • Promoting offers, promotions and events.
  • Providing refreshments and snacks to customers.
  • Recommending games and alternative machines using product knowledge gained through training.
  • Handling cash and providing customers with change as a coin-based business.
  • Performing ID checks in line with the Challenge 25 policy and complying with gambling legislation.

Applicants must be 18 years or older due to licensing laws. We seek candidates who are passionate about customer service and can deliver it with pride and integrity. Candidates should be outgoing, confident and ambitious, capable of approaching customers to discuss games, tournaments and to offer food and beverages. Punctuality, presentability and brand ambassadorship are required. As a seven-day-a-week business, flexibility to meet business needs is essential.
