Our client is a conferencing and events specialist, with a portfolio of over 20 corporate conference sites across 3 UK cities. They are looking for a Venue Manager for one of their City of London sites - one of their first flagship sites!

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate client base across Banking, Insurance, Media and Law sectors
  • Managing events operation from sales & marketing to planning to delivery
  • Manage full team of 7 full time, including Kitchen of 3
  • 16 rooms fitting up to 160 delegates per day across the site
  • Work with Central Sales Team to proactively seek new business locally
  • Manage existing key corporate accounts
  • Be responsible for the delivery of catering, reception, facilities

Essential:

  • A General Manager or experienced Deputy Manager from Venue or Hotel background
  • Experience of working with or among proactive sales
  • Experience of Corporate client events and hospitality
