My Client is actively looking to recruit a full time chef manager at this busy school based in the Reading area, managing a large school feeding approximately 1100 children per day. An understanding of education catering is very important as the school is very focused on the Catering department. The catering department is made up of 8 staff who work closely with the teachers and masters.
This role is very front facing with regular contact with the pupils on the counter service operation. A food lead chef manager is essential, and knowledge of local and national food trends would be highly beneficial. This role includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the unit is closed for some weeks during the holiday periods. The role is Monday to Friday.
A fantastic opportunity for the right chef manager who is happy to work early evenings, with no weekend work and the benefit of limited working weeks due to the school breaks.
