- Providing independent challenge to first line credit and pricing teams on portfolio performance, strategy outcomes and alignment with risk appetite and policy.
- Supporting the monitoring of credit risk appetite metrics and limits, highlighting deteriorating trends, potential breaches, and areas of concern.
- Producing high-quality analysis and commentary for risk committees and senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, decision-useful insight.
- Working closely with the Senior Credit Risk Manager to support strong credit risk policies, controls and governance.
- Sharing portfolio insight with Impairment teams to support a consistent understanding of credit performance and risk.
- Acting as a senior analytical reference point within the team, coaching others and quality-assuring analytical output where appropriate.

- The ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to a range of stakeholders, including senior audiences.
- Experience working with, or providing challenge to, first line credit risk, pricing or portfolio teams.
