About the Role
This role drives operational excellence across. You’ll lead a portfolio of change initiatives delivering strong ROI, while optimising operational systems and owning front‑line SOPs and process flows. You’ll work closely with Operations, Product, Growth, and IT to ensure new initiatives, products, and systems land smoothly and the business is fully ready for change. You’ll also deliver LSS training through the Lean Academy and support colleagues with their projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading on the creation, maintenance, and delivery of a portfolio of change initiatives that drive the business forward and return a significant ROI for the team.
- Optimising existing operational systems and ways of working.
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining all front-line SOPs and process flows, redesigning and retraining any continuous improvement ideas to ensure consistency on the front line.
- Working with, and influencing, Pioneer‑wide Operations, Product, Growth, and IT teams to ensure delivery of new initiatives, products, and systems as seamlessly as possible, ensuring business readiness.
- Leading LSS‑focused training sessions as part of Pioneer’s internal Lean Academy and supporting colleagues when delivering their projects as part of Pioneer’s internal Lean Academy.
- Ensuring operational excellence remains a fore for the senior leadership team, effectively influencing and communicating the LSS way of working.
- Creating and sustaining a continuous improvement culture whilst designing and embedding Pioneer‑wide LSS operating models and methodologies.
What we’re looking for:
- A LSS qualification of Black Belt or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in front-line operations and financial services.
- Exceptional analytical skills and have strong Excel (or other data analysis tools) skills.
- Highly skilled in embedding CI in day-to-day roles.
- A specialist in identifying and leading a portfolio of change initiatives with demonstrable business benefits.
- Evidence of making real improvements and delivering change initiatives.
- Proven experience of developing strong stakeholder relationships across all levels.
- Proven experience of budget control, financial analysis, and benefit tracking.
