Role Purpose
Support the Lead Treasury Analyst and Head of Treasury in delivering Admiral Money’s funding and liquidity strategy. This role focuses on short- to medium-term cash management, monitoring structured funding facilities, and executing funding transactions. It also involves project work and supporting new funding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Funding & Capital Markets
Assist in executing structured funding transactions (e.g., warehouse facilities, forward flow, securitisations).
Prepare data and analysis for funders, rating agencies, and internal stakeholders.
2. Liquidity & Cashflow Management
Maintain and update cashflow forecasting models.
Monitor facility usage and drawdowns.
3. Treasury Operations & Controls
Follow treasury policies and controls.
Maintain documentation for funding structures.
Support hedge execution and monitor effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
4. Reporting & Insights
Develop dashboards on funding costs, liquidity, and facility efficiency.
Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate reporting.
Key Relationships
- Internal: Treasury, FP&A, Financial Control, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Credit Strategy teams
- External: Lenders, funding partners, and treasury system providers
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong modelling and forecasting skills across multiple products/entities
- Analytical mindset with clear written communication
Desirable:
- Experience in securitisation or capital markets
- Knowledge of interest rate hedging and structured funding
- Familiarity with coding for data analysis
- Accounting knowledge
