Join our dynamic technology team in Admiral Business as a Senior QA Engineer and play a key role in shaping our quality function. You\’ll be instrumental in designing and executing test strategies, championing quality best practices, and collaborating with development teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Main Responsibilities
- Create and standardise QA documentation, test plans, and templates
- Develop, implement, and drive QA strategies aligned with business goals
- Manual testing of new features
- Contributions to Engineering Ways of Working
- Champion Shift-Left testing practices, supporting engineers in testing & testability improvements
- Establish and maintain modern testing frameworks and tools
- Develop, maintain, and optimise automated test suites across multiple applications, ensuring high test coverage
- Advocate for best practices in test automation, CI/CD integration, and modern tooling adoption
- Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced QAs and engineers
- Identify, communicate, and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in Quality Assurance Practices within Agile development teams
- 3+ years developing and maintaining automated test suites
- Strong proficiency in modern test frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, PostMan, RestAssured)
- Competency in JavaScript/TypeScript or another OOP language
- Ability to read and understand development code
- Experience in performance and security testing domains
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- CI/CD Pipelining Experience
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., Insurance, Finance, Healthcare)
- ISTQB Certification or similar
- Exposure to API contract testing (Pact, Postman) and cloud-based test environments
- Experience with AI-driven test automation and chaos engineering tools
