We’re on a mission to deliver seamless, personalised, and frictionless experiences for every customer at Admiral. At the heart of this transformation is our newly launched Customer Master Data Management (MDM) solution, which serves as the strategic platform providing a trusted, connected view of our customers and their products across the Admiral Group. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Product Owner to lead the evolution of this platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a capability that is central to powering connected customer experiences, while working closely with business, data, and technology teams to deliver real value at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and continuously refine business requirements in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring clear articulation of customer and business needs.
- Translate these requirements into a well-prioritised product backlog, focused on delivering maximum business value from the MDM platform.
- Develop and own the platform vision and roadmap for Admiral’s MDM system, enabling enterprise-wide activation of trusted customer data.
- Partner closely with Admiral’s central data teams, who own and manage the data itself, to ensure effective collaboration on data quality, flows, governance, and usage.
- Identify and assess new opportunities to unlock value from MDM — powering both customer experiences and enterprise data interoperability.
- Ensure clear communication of requirements to delivery teams and work closely with engineering, architecture, and platform leads to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Evangelise the value of the MDM platform across the business through demos, showcases, and stakeholder education.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager working with Customer MDM platforms or other enterprise-scale systems.
- Experience with Informatic MDM would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience in enterprise platform product ownership, ideally in environments with federated data ownership or complex organisational structures.
- Experience working in retail insurance or financial services is highly desirable.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in aligning with centralised data, IT, and business teams.
- Skilled in backlog management, delivery planning, and requirement gathering within an agile framework.
- A strategic thinker who can connect platform capabilities to business outcomes.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and data delivery pipelines is a plus.
