An exciting opportunity has opened within Admiral's Group Procurement team. This function manages our supply chain's governance and controls to ensure we secure essential goods and services, maximise value, and adhere to all regulations and legal requirements. The team comprises 16 members, including this position, and is structured to better support our customers. We offer diverse experience and talent and emphasise knowledge sharing. Job Purpose: The successful candidate will report to the Group Procurement Manager and will be responsible for sourcing goods and services - including tenders, contract renewals, market research, lower value contract negotiation, and contract development.
Responsibilities:
- The sourcing of goods and services for indirect categories of spend.
- Supporting the Senior Buyer and Procurement Manager in order to identify and manage the appropriate sourcing process i.e RFI, RFP.
- Work closely and collaboratively with our customers and to lead on tenders and contract renewals, including negotiation and contract development.
- Provide support on the administration of suppliers, this will range from categorising suppliers to assisting the business.
- Identify risks through the sourcing process.
- Provide support on the administration of contracts. This will range from updating contracts in the contract management system to reporting contract renewals and updating contract records.
- Providing general support and completing ad-hoc tasks as required by Procurement Managers.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years procurement experience with tender management, contract, and supplier management.
- Stakeholder management experience to mid-management level.
- Experience of using own initiative and working pro-actively on different tasks, while prioritising your own workload.
- A strong track record of delivering value.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and IT literate.
- Experience negotiating with stakeholders.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Working towards MCIPS or willing to achieve the required qualifications.
- A strong track record of delivering value.
- Experience managing low-medium risk tender exercises.
- Financial services Procurement experience.
