We are looking for an experienced Capital, Impairment & Stress Testing Manager to join our Financial Risk team. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for our IFRS 9 impairment modelling, forecasting, stress testing and capital analytics capability across unsecured loans, motor finance and mortgages. You will lead a team across model development, forecasting and reporting, helping to ensure our outputs are robust, well-governed and insightful. You will also play an important role in supporting wider prudential oversight, including funding and liquidity risk, warehouse structures and covenant monitoring. This role is Hybrid with an expectation to be in our Cardiff office a minimum of two days a week.

Responsibilities:
- Own and enhance Admiral Money’s IFRS 9 impairment framework, including model development, performance monitoring and governance.
- Lead impairment forecasting, reporting and insight for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Deliver stress testing and scenario analysis to support planning, risk appetite assessment and capital management.
- Support relevant capital calculations and financial risk analysis, linking loss forecasts to capital outcomes.
- Provide oversight and challenge on funding and liquidity risk, including warehouse facilities and covenant monitoring.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of four across modelling, forecasting and reporting.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS 9 / ECL modelling in a regulated lending environment.
- Experience of forecasting, scenario analysis and stress testing.
- Understanding of capital or prudential risk analysis and how credit losses translate into capital impacts.
- Experience leading or developing technical analytical teams.
- Strong analytical capability and experience with tools such as Python, SQL, Excel and Power BI or similar.
Desirable:
- Experience in funding and liquidity risk, including warehouse structures or covenant oversight, would be a strong advantage.
