About the role

You’ll own both the strategy and the delivery defining how broker marketing drives growth and turning that into tangible outputs, campaigns, and commercial results. You’ll tackle complex and often undefined challenges, including how Admiral Business differentiates itself in a broker market dominated by legacy approaches. You’ll be expected to challenge existing ways of working, introduce new thinking, and continuously raise the standard of broker marketing. This role will set the direction, standards, and operating model for broker marketing, with clear accountability for performance, outcomes, and long-term capability build.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Direction
    • Own and evolve the broker marketing strategy, ensuring it directly supports commercial growth targets
    • Define where and how marketing can create competitive advantage in broker distribution
    • Identify complex growth opportunities and solve for them, even where there is no clear precedent
  • Commercial Impact
    • Be accountable for the contribution of broker marketing to pipeline, premium, and policy growth
    • Align marketing activity tightly to Distribution goals and broker performance
    • Continuously optimise activity based on performance data and commercial outcomes
  • Execution & Delivery
    • Translate strategy into clear, prioritised plans and deliver them end-to-end
    • Take full ownership of output quality, speed, and impact
    • Balance long-term capability build with immediate commercial delivery
  • Innovation & Challenge
    • Challenge traditional broker marketing approaches and introduce new ways of working
    • Test and scale new ideas, channels, and engagement models
    • Push the business to think differently about how we win through brokers
  • Stakeholder Leadership
    • Act as a senior, credible voice across Growth and Distribution
    • Influence decision-making at senior levels, often without direct authority
