This role sits within Household Pricing and focuses on strengthening our governance and control framework. You’ll help ensure we meet regulatory requirements and internal standards, while also improving how we manage risk and deliver pricing activity. You’ll operate with a good level of autonomy, leading pieces of work, supporting others in the team and acting as a go‑to for governance queries. There's also scope to develop into people management, including mentoring and supporting more junior colleagues.
About the team: Household Pricing is part of the wider Household function, responsible for product design, pricing, distribution and performance. With over 2 million customers, it’s a key area of the business alongside Landlord and newer products. The team is data‑led, focused on achieving profitable growth and staying competitive. You’ll also have the chance to work across other pricing areas such as Motor, Pet and Travel, and with wider business teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting governance frameworks to meet regulatory and internal requirements
- Developing and maintaining risk controls within pricing processes
- Leading and contributing to projects and continuous improvement work
- Acting as a key contact for governance and risk‑related queries
- Supporting regulatory activity such as FCA submissions, Fair Value Assessments and GIPP
- Analysing data and providing insight to support decision‑making
- Producing clear reports and governance documentation
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Supporting and mentoring analysts within the team
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience with governance, risk or regulatory environments
- Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with a range of audiences
- Strong analytical mindset with a commercial and customer‑focused approach
- Experience using tools such as SQL, Excel, BigQuery, Looker or GCP
- Experience contributing to or leading projects
- Able to manage workload independently and handle multiple priorities
