This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance to our Cardiff office twice per fortnight. It's an exciting time for Admiral as it continues to embark on its diversification strategy with our newest product - Pet Insurance, launched in the summer of 2022 with huge expansion since through both organic growth and acquisition. The business is on track to be a top 5 player in the market and is looking to embark on the next phase of its disruption strategy to push the business to even greater heights by really focusing on the customer experience and outcomes.
Reporting to the Pet Director, the Head of Product & Trading will be responsible for:
- Having a deep understanding of customer demands and needs and building a product range that meets these needs.
- Leading and disrupting the market on product design and innovation, driving enhanced customer experiences and business growth.
- Keeping close to market & industry development including regulator focus to ensure we are able to proactively understand and build product solutions for our customers and trading strategies for our business.
- The performance of our existing products ensuring they provide fair value for our customers, with Consumer duty embedded in their evaluation and ongoing development.
- Our trading strategy and plan ensuring we drive ambitious yet sustainable business growth.
Main Duties:
- To create strategic plans and budgets that support our growth ambitions.
- Working across the Pet LT to ensure we monitor product and service performance and build a culture, framework and governance that has customer service improvement at the centre.
- To provide overall ownership of existing Pet insurance products and the design and development of new Pet Insurance and Wellness products to meet clearly identified customer needs.
