The Senior Manager, Business Development will be a key commercial leader responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding strategic partner relationships, and supporting the European market’s business expansion. This role will be responsible for owning commercial outcomes, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders, and executing go‑to‑market strategies with autonomy. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape business development strategy for local European publishers, elevate partner engagement, and make measurable business impact in a fast‑growing adtech environment.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Partnership & Growth
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with publishers, platforms, and media partners in Europe.
- Build and deepen long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders, serving as a trusted commercial advisor.
- Conduct high‑level negotiations and secure profitable, sustainable partnership agreements.
- Commercial Ownership
- Drive revenue performance and pipeline management – forecast accurately and achieve quarterly/annual targets.
- Use data, market insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth levers and optimise portfolio performance.
- Partner closely with internal product, analytics, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and optimisation.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Demand teams to align business development strategies with wider company goals.
- Support product roadmap input based on partner feedback and commercial priorities.
- Thought Leadership
- Represent adMarketplace and our European Strategy at industry events, conferences, and key partner forums.
- Create compelling business cases and presentations for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (Master’s/MBA a plus).
- 6+ years of business development, strategic sales, or commercial leadership experience, ideally in adtech, digital media, publishing, or technology.
- Proven track record of closing complex deals and driving significant revenue growth.
- Strong analytical capabilities – comfortable leveraging performance data to guide decisions.
- Excellent communicator and presenter – able to influence at both senior internal and external levels.
- Experience with UK/EU digital ecosystem, marketplace dynamics, or publisher monetisation models preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑border environment with evolving priorities.
