What You'll Be Doing

- Take ownership of the daily and weekly maintenance plan, balancing planned, reactive and corrective work
- Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting equipment issues and restoring plant safely following breakdowns
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, leading root-cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes
- Ensure full compliance with HSE, food safety and quality standards (including HACCP, BRCGS, GMP and UK regulations)
- Monitor key KPIs such as downtime, PM compliance and repeat failures, taking action to improve performance
- Work closely with Production, Quality, HSE and Planning teams to align maintenance priorities
- Manage contractors and ensure all work is safely controlled and completed to required standards
- Support engineering projects, modifications and small capital improvements
- Maintain accurate records within the CMMS and ensure effective management of spares and assets
- Promote a proactive maintenance culture focused on prevention, not just reaction
