Location: London. This role requires occasional travel to company sites including Stafford, Hereford, Walden and Kent, as well as international travel to ADM offices and industry events.

ADM’s Flavours business in the UK & Ireland is a strategic regional platform within ADM’s global Nutrition organization, significantly strengthened through the acquisitions of TNS and Fuerst Day Lawson Limited (FDL). These acquisitions have established the UK as a key origin and capability hub, delivering flavour, ingredient and application solutions both domestically and to wider EMEA and global markets.

The platform brings together complementary capabilities across flavours, seasonings, sauces and functional systems, alongside ADM’s broader portfolio in nutrition ingredients. A central focus of the role is the successful integration, optimisation and further development of the TNS and FDL footprint, ensuring operational excellence, scalability and consistent value delivery.

The role will play a critical part in realizing synergies, strengthening the integrated business model and positioning the UK platform as a centre of excellence, supporting both regional growth and export opportunities. The Sr. Director UK Flavours is the senior regional P&L owner, accountable for commercial performance, strategic direction and value creation. The role requires strong matrix leadership and close collaboration with regional and global commercial leadership to drive growth across the portfolio. It reports to VP Flavours, EMEA.

Main Responsibilities
  • Own full P&L accountability for the assigned business, delivering against annual operating plans and longer-term financial commitments.
  • Define and execute the regional strategy for the flavours platform, aligned with EMEA and global priorities, while positioning the UK as a key origin and capability hub.
  • Lead the continued integration, stabilisation and optimisation of acquired capabilities, driving performance excellence and operational efficiency across the footprint.
  • Drive profitable growth in partnership with regional and global commercial leadership, ensuring alignment on key customers, channels and portfolio priorities.
  • Strengthen and develop the regional footprint, including manufacturing, supply chain and innovation capabilities, to support scalability and future growth.
  • Partner with Creation, Design & Development (CD&D) and Product Management and Sales at destination to deliver differentiated, application-led solutions relevant to regional and export markets.
  • Continuously optimise the portfolio to improve profitability, reduce complexity and enhance strategic focus.
  • Sponsor and support investment cases, capacity expansion and capability-building initiatives aligned with growth and performance objectives.
  • Lead through influence across a matrix organisation, ensuring alignment and execution across functions, sites and regions.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering or a related discipline; MBA desirable.
  • Extensive experience within the Flavours, Ingredients or B2B Food & Beverage sector, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of leading a defined business unit or portfolio with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong customer-facing experience, with demonstrated success in delivering profitable growth.
  • Sound understanding of food and beverage manufacturing, flavour systems and application development.
  • Proven ability to translate market and customer insights into executable business strategies.
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of the supply chain, from sourcing and manufacturing through to planning, logistics and customer delivery.
