Job DescriptionWe're looking for a driven QA Operations Manager to lead quality on the shop floor at our Lopen site. This is a high-impact role with full oversight of QA across manufacturing—ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical GMP and food/feed standards while championing a right-first-time culture. You'll lead a hands-on QA team, own batch release, and act as a key technical authority—driving quality excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across operations. Lead & InspireManage, coach, and develop the QA operations teamBuild a strong, accountable quality cultureEnsure proactive QA presence and real-time decision-makingOwn Quality & ComplianceAct as the go-to expert for GMP and quality systemsEnsure adherence to EU/UK GMP and food/feed safety standardsSupport audits and regulatory inspectionsBatch Release & Quality OversightLead batch certification and release activitiesReview manufacturing and packaging recordsMake critical release/reject decisionsDrive ImprovementLead deviations, root cause analysis, and CAPA deliveryDeliver APQRs and identify performance trendsUse KPIs and data to drive continuous improvementCollaborate & InfluencePartner with Production, Technical, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teamsSupport new products, validations, and process changesDevelop CapabilityIdentify skill gaps and deliver GMP trainingBuild team capability and support succession planningAbout YouStrong knowledge of EU/UK GMPProven leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environmentExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, operational settingQualificationsDegree in a scientific discipline4+ years in QA/QC within pharmaceutical manufacturing2+ years in a leadership roleDesirable HACCP and food/feed safety experienceSkills & Abilities: In-depth knowledge of EU/UK GMP regulations and guidelines. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards in a GMP environment. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
