The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

Position can be based at one of UK locations (Erith, London, Somerset, Lincolnshire, Chelmsford or Manchester).

Manage all tax compliance and advisory topics for ADM in the UK and Ireland.

Manage tax compliance and advisory topics in other EMEA jurisdictions as required.

Identify and implement tax optimization and risk mitigation projects in the UK and Ireland.

Work on other tax optimization, compliance, and technology projects as needed across EMEA.

Review local statutory accounts to make sure they are tax compliant and track any potential tax/statutory issues in coordination with Finance teams.

Prepare data for tax calculations and filings in coordination with Finance team and external compliance service provider.

Supervise and coordinate tax returns preparation and filing by external tax advisors.

Keep comprehensive tax related records and ensure that they are accessible.

Coordinate tax payments to tax authorities in compliance with the tax regulations.

Act as a main point of contact in communication with the tax authorities, tax auditors and tax advisers.

Prepare written replies to the tax authority questions and manage / coordinate complex Tax audits.

Identify tax savings, tax refunds, incentives and risk reducing opportunities.

Support the TP team in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.

Provide tax oversight of local aspects of the quarterly and year-end tax provision.

Provide professional tax advice on the tax implications of the company's activities and impact of legislative changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics / Finance / Business / Law / Tax or similar.
  • 8+ years of tax experience in a large Multinational Corporations and/or major advisory/audit business.
  • Good knowledge of UK accounting, tax legislation and practice.
  • Knowledge and experience of tax compliance/advisory in other countries and cross border tax issues is a requirement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication skills is a requirement.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, communication and teamworking skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Professional qualifications such as CTA, ACCA and other industry recognized qualifications.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing, Agri-trading industry is a benefit.
  • Experience in using tax technology & ERP systems (SAP, JDE etc.) is a plus.
