As Senior Brand Manager, you help shape how Protexin Veterinary is experienced by veterinary professionals and commercial partners across markets. Protexin Veterinary is an award-winning global brand, producing scientifically proven biotics distributed in over 90 countries. For over 30 years, the brand has built its reputation in the pet supplements space through a consistent focus on high-quality, innovative products for dogs, cats and rabbits.
You will lead brand strategy and execution across Protexin Veterinary, working across campaigns, product launches and full-funnel marketing activity. Your work connects scientific credibility with clear, practical brand storytelling, ensuring veterinary audiences receive the right information in a way that supports confident decision-making. You will work across commercial, technical, regulatory and project management teams to bring new products to market, support brand growth, and ensure consistency across every customer touchpoint.
What you will do
- Lead brand strategy and execution: You will take ownership of how the Protexin Veterinary brand is positioned and delivered across channels and markets. We will rely on you to:
- Shape and evolve brand guidelines and campaign direction
- Drive full-funnel creative strategy including campaign launches, seasonal initiatives and new product launches
- Ensure all brand activity is consistent, relevant and grounded in customer insight
- Partner with creative teams and agencies to develop effective, high-quality assets
- You will connect strategy to execution, making sure plans translate into work that performs in-market.
- Drive new product and portfolio launches: You will lead the stage gate process for all NPD and EPD (New and Existing Product Development) projects, working closely with commercial, sales, technical, regulatory and project management teams to deliver projects on time and in full.
- Support veterinary and commercial channels: You will support marketing efforts for veterinary wholesalers, buying groups and the eCommerce business, working closely with internal veterinarians and technical teams to ensure material is correct and compliant. We will look to you to:
- Develop clear brand plans and KPIs for key markets
- Support commercial teams with accurate and compliant marketing materials
- Ensure consistency of messaging across audiences and channels
- Manage investment and impact: You will manage the marketing budget effectively to maximise impact and efficiency.
What you bring
We are looking for someone with strong brand management experience and a proven track record of delivering across the marketing mix. We are open to candidates from outside the veterinary market, ideally from FMCG backgrounds, with experience in eCommerce and retail markets. Experience in animal health or veterinary markets is also highly valued. You will bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in brand management
- Proven success in developing and executing brand strategies that drive growth
- Experience of creating new products for new markets (product innovation)
- Strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills
- Experience managing marketing budgets
- Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail and interest in animal wellbeing
- Experience working with regulatory requirements in veterinary or healthcare sectors is a plus
