Your Responsibilities
- Help ensure the maintenance department meets goals for health and safety, environment, product quality, processing, costs and effectiveness
- Complying fully with local and ADM’s safety regulations/standards and promoting safety culture.
- Ensure a good understanding of current standard methodologies (elements) and deploy those agreed to in the business.
- Responsible for providing technical expertise to the Maintenance Team to improve the overall equipment efficiency\systems performance and reliability
- Contribute to the analysis of actual equipment design and assist in the completion of failure mode and effect analysis studies
- Work with the Engineering Teams to develop new approaches for maintaining new and existing equipment
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentices, mechanics, engineers and contractors on Reliability Strategies and Technologies
- Write and update maintenance procedures and all pertinent documents
- Participate in the development of maintenance strategies for all equipment. Support the execution of the RCM process on existing equipment
- Work with the Maintenance Planner to improve planning processes and develop job plans through periodic job audits
- Maintain communications between maintenance, engineering, and technical projects
- Work with the Reliability Engineer to integrate PM's and predictive/diagnostic work into the Preventive Maintenance Program
- Audit compliance for Food Safety and Quality Precision Maintenance into the Maintenance Program
- To undertake travel to other ADM locations as and when required
Your Profile
- NC/ONC/HNC/C&G in Mechanical Engineering or related extensive years of experience
- SMRP / CRL or similar certifications are beneficial
- Extensive experience in industrial manufacturing
- Root cause analysis experience
- Compliance and safety experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Computerized Maintenance Systems, (CMMS)
- Must be trained on at least the basics of planning and scheduling
