Your Responsibilities

  • Help ensure the maintenance department meets goals for health and safety, environment, product quality, processing, costs and effectiveness
  • Complying fully with local and ADM’s safety regulations/standards and promoting safety culture.
  • Ensure a good understanding of current standard methodologies (elements) and deploy those agreed to in the business.
  • Responsible for providing technical expertise to the Maintenance Team to improve the overall equipment efficiency\systems performance and reliability
  • Contribute to the analysis of actual equipment design and assist in the completion of failure mode and effect analysis studies
  • Work with the Engineering Teams to develop new approaches for maintaining new and existing equipment
  • Mentor and provide guidance to apprentices, mechanics, engineers and contractors on Reliability Strategies and Technologies
  • Write and update maintenance procedures and all pertinent documents
  • Participate in the development of maintenance strategies for all equipment. Support the execution of the RCM process on existing equipment
  • Work with the Maintenance Planner to improve planning processes and develop job plans through periodic job audits
  • Maintain communications between maintenance, engineering, and technical projects
  • Work with the Reliability Engineer to integrate PM's and predictive/diagnostic work into the Preventive Maintenance Program
  • Audit compliance for Food Safety and Quality Precision Maintenance into the Maintenance Program
  • To undertake travel to other ADM locations as and when required

Your Profile

  • NC/ONC/HNC/C&G in Mechanical Engineering or related extensive years of experience
  • SMRP / CRL or similar certifications are beneficial
  • Extensive experience in industrial manufacturing
  • Root cause analysis experience
  • Compliance and safety experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Computerized Maintenance Systems, (CMMS)
  • Must be trained on at least the basics of planning and scheduling
  • Technical skills
  • Reliable
