Your Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The main duties of this role will include ensuring that all product meets required specification from intake through to customer delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Work within the company’s Safety and Health guidelines
- Testing of Wheat, Flour and associated products
- Monitor product quality to ensure it meets required parameters from intake through to customer delivery, including efficient & accurate data entry and reporting
- Flagging Quality concerns to Quality Specialist, Technical Manager and Milling Team immediately
- Create & issue certificates for customers
- Assist with maintaining laboratory testing equipmentEnsure Central Technical Function receive samples required for testing
- Liaise with Wheat Department on claims and independent testing requirements
- Coordinate with despatch department regarding certification and testing requirements associated to customer deliveries
- Deputise for Quality Specialist
Your Profile
- Educated to GCSE level, Maths and English
- 1+ years working in food industry (preferably with laboratory experience) (Optional)
- Experienced with Microsoft programmes (including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
