Job Description:

Summary:

The HUB Buyer I will be responsible for procuring all non-commodity goods and services for all ADM entities, including stock and non-stock items.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Issue RFQs for purchases.
  2. Negotiate short-term agreements.
  3. Manage weekly Purchase Order queries, including acknowledgment and overdue queries. Review queries periodically and take necessary actions.
  4. Follow up with vendors, ADM requisition writers, and warehouse personnel as needed.
  5. Support the implementation of Strategic Sourcing contracts.
  6. Ensure 100% compliance with the Global Non-Commodity Procure-to-Pay Policy.
  7. Adhere to KPIs set by the Operations Purchasing Manager, such as PO before invoice, PO cycle time, on-time delivery, and PO consolidation, collaborating with colleagues to improve these metrics.
  8. Partner with the Shared Services team to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  9. Identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  10. Process Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders.
  11. Perform RFQs and resolve issues related to delivery discrepancies, pricing, logistics, etc.
  12. Ensure proper item or service number usage on all POs.
  13. Operate within the Coupa Purchasing system.
  14. Ensure contracted vendors are utilized on all POs.

Job Requirements:
