Overview Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit consultancy where your contribution makes a real difference.

You'll work on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects while receiving ongoing support to develop your career.

Duties Key responsibilities include: Measuring building works in accordance with the RICS New Rules of Measurement (NRM).

Preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and carrying out quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.

Producing accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects, including labour, materials, plant and associated costs.

Assisting with budgeting, cost planning and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.

Identifying commercial risks and implementing strategies to minimise project costs.

Preparing tender documentation and producing coordinated tender packages.

Liaising with Architects, Structural Engineers and Civil Engineers to ensure coordinated project delivery.

Reviewing consultants' design reports, drawings and technical information.

Assisting with contract administration and commercial management of projects.

Maintaining accurate records of information issued and received between clients, consultants and contractors.

Attending site visits, progress meetings, design workshops and client meetings.

Carrying out site measurements and valuations where required.

Supporting the wider team with general project and office duties.

Requirements We're looking for someone with: A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying accredited by the RICS, or be working towards RICS Chartered status.

Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction industry.

A portfolio demonstrating relevant project experience.

A good understanding of UK construction methods, building systems and construction techniques.

Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational abilities.

The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads effectively.

The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and professional approach.

A desire to develop their career within a growing consultancy.

A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.
