The company is currently executing a major integration program following the acquisition of a similarly sized organisation. The integration will combine operations, technology, commercial teams, and corporate functions across multiple regions. The Integration Management Office leads this effort and ensures that strategic objectives translate into operational execution. The Integration Program Manager plays a central role in the Integration Management Office. This individual partners with functional workstreams to turn integration strategy into structured programs, detailed execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
The role requires a leader who can coordinate complex initiatives across functions such as Finance, Operations, Technology, HR, Legal, and Commercial teams. The individual ensures that initiatives progress on schedule, risks are identified early, and leadership receives clear reporting on progress and outcomes. This position operates at the center of the integration program and serves as the connective layer between executive leadership and operational teams.
Responsibilities- Program Planning & Execution: Turn integration strategy into clear workplans with milestones and owners. Define scope, success metrics, and execution plans with workstream leads. Maintain the master integration plan and track progress against objectives.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Partner with leaders across Finance, Operations, Tech, HR, Legal, and Commercial. Manage interdependencies and facilitate problem‑solving when issues arise.
- Governance & Reporting: Run governance routines and prepare executive and steering committee updates. Report on progress, risks, decisions, and synergy/value realisation.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and maintain the risk/issue log. Ensure clear and timely escalation paths across the program.
- Program Management Excellence: Drive consistency in planning tools, templates, documentation, and reporting. Promote disciplined program management across all workstreams.
- Change & Adoption: Support leadership in rolling out new operating models and processes. Contribute to communication and change management activities.
- Professional Background: Experience in program management, consulting, transformation, or integrations. Proven delivery of complex, cross‑functional initiatives in large organisations. M&A or enterprise transformation experience strongly preferred. Strategy, consulting, or transformation office experience is a plus.
- Program Management Skills: Ability to turn ambiguity into structured workplans. Strong coordination across multiple workstreams. Comfortable preparing exec‑level reporting and governance materials.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Skilled in engaging senior leaders and navigating complex organisations. Strong facilitation and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
- Analytical & Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesise information across teams.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to both leaders and operational teams.
