We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager or an ambitious Senior Account Executive to join a respected independent PR and comms agency based in the heart of Cardiff. This business has been delivering results-led PR, marketing and digital comms for nearly 30 years and is continuing to grow in both size and reputation. What you’ll be doing
As Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of campaigns across PR, digital, and social media - working with a mix of B2B and B2C clients. You’ll lead on project timelines, client communication, reporting, and content - making sure everything runs smoothly and meets strategic objectives.
You’ll write and review a range of content including press releases, articles, web copy, and social media posts. You’ll keep campaign plans up to date, spot opportunities for added value, and manage budgets across your portfolio.
Internally, you’ll support the development of junior team members - helping them grow their skills and confidence - and play an active role in maintaining a positive and inclusive team culture. You’ll also collaborate closely with senior leaders on new business and the agency’s own marketing activity.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- 3+ years of experience in a PR, comms, or marketing agency.
- Proven experience leading client relationships and multi-channel campaigns.
- Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
- Media relations experience with evidence of established journalist contacts.
- Experience delivering social media content and campaigns.
- Budget management and commercial awareness.
- Ability to delegate, mentor and support junior team members.
- Confident, organised and solutions-focused.
- Full UK driving licence (ideally with access to a car).
- Welsh language skills are a bonus, not essential.
