As a Data Consultant, you’ll be joining a fast‑growing data and AI specialist consultancy that partners closely with SMEs to help them get more value from their data. This role is perfect for someone who loves talking about data platforms, simplifying complex ideas, and guiding senior business leaders through technical decisions.
You’ll be working alongside a brilliant consulting team, supporting sales and delivery functions, and helping shape data and AI strategies that actually impact clients.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll work directly with senior leaders across SMEs, helping them understand how data and AI can transform their business.
- You’ll assess their current setups, spot opportunities, and design practical roadmaps that bring clarity to messy data landscapes.
- You’ll advise on data warehouses, data engineering approaches, governance, APIs, and platform choices.
- You’ll have conversations comparing Databricks with Snowflake, or guiding a CFO through common pitfalls of ETL tools.
- You’ll translate business needs into clear technical requirements and work closely with the delivery team to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practice.
- You’ll also play a key role working with pre‑sales, supporting colleagues in shaping proposals, contributing technical insight, and inspiring stakeholders with simple, confident explanations of complex data topics.

What experience you’ll need to apply
- Strong client‑facing experience, ideally within a consultancy.
- Ability to simplify complex data topics for non‑technical audiences.
- Confident discussing data warehouses, data platforms and best practice, and a background in doing this.
- Experience across Azure and Databricks; Snowflake or GCP also welcome.
- Comfortable advising senior stakeholders (MD, CFO, CTO level).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience shaping data and AI solutions, plus an understanding of common pitfalls.
