We're recruiting on behalf of a well-known brand, seeking a driven Paid Social Executive to join their high-performing Performance Marketing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your paid social expertise whilst managing substantial campaign budgets and directly influencing customer acquisition for millions.
If you're a Paid Social Executive, Social Media Executive or Digital Marketing Executive with 1-2 years' hands-on experience managing campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn and other platforms, and you're ready to make your mark in a fast-paced, data-led environment, this role offers genuine career progression within performance marketing.
What you'll be doing:- Plan, execute and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Twitter/X and emerging platforms, working closely with the Senior Paid Media Manager to deliver ambitious customer acquisition targets.
- Manage day-to-day campaign activity across multiple social platforms, monitoring performance against key metrics including CPM, CPA, CTR and ROAS, using data insights to continuously optimise and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agency partners to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging that resonate with target audiences whilst adhering to strict financial services regulatory requirements.
- Conduct ongoing A/B testing across ad formats, audiences, placements and messaging, analysing results to inform future campaign strategy and improve conversion rates across the customer journey.
- Support budget management and forecasting activities, ensuring efficient spend allocation across platforms and campaigns to maximise return on investment.
- Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights, clearly communicating campaign results and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes and emerging trends in paid social, bringing innovative approaches and fresh ideas to campaign management whilst ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and brand guidelines.
- 1-2 years' proven experience in a paid social or digital marketing role, with hands-on campaign management across Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and ideally additional platforms.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions that demonstrably improve performance and ROI.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), with a solid understanding of conversion tracking, attribution models and measuring campaign effectiveness across the full customer journey.
- Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to create engaging ad copy that drives action whilst remaining compliant with financial services regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
- Creative thinking combined with a commercial mindset—you understand what makes campaigns perform and are constantly looking for ways to test, learn and improve results.
- Experience working within financial services, fintech or another regulated industry would be highly advantageous, as would platform certifications (Meta Blueprint, LinkedIn Marketing Labs).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field is preferred but not essential with strong relevant experience.
