This Full Stack Engineer role is a key hire for a digitally led publishing business where technology underpins everything they do. You will create, own and evolve the platforms that deliver content, data and integrations to clients worldwide. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work closely with the wider business, turning ideas and requirements into scalable, well-designed solutions. This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, responsibility and seeing the direct impact of their work.
What you'll be doing
As a Full Stack Engineer working with Azure and JS, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, from shaping requirements and designing solutions through to build, deployment and ongoing improvement. You will develop modern web applications and APIs that support content delivery, data acquisition and system integrations. You will collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions. You will also help identify technical debt, improve existing systems and play an active role in shaping the future platform and product direction.
What experience you'll need to apply
- Commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer within a SaaS, media or digital platform environment
- Hands on experience working within Azure cloud environments, and high-level Azure skills
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and design practical solutions
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast paced, evolving environment
- Confident working in a small team with their fractional CTO
- Experience with .NET is a bonus but not a requirement
