This Senior Analyst position sits within a specialist Centre of Excellence, supporting a variety of business teams on high-impact projects. The successful Senior Analyst will combine strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills, helping stakeholders understand business challenges and create meaningful solutions through data. This role would suit a Senior Analyst who enjoys variety, ownership and working closely with stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
As a Senior Analyst, you'll work across analytics, data modelling and transformation projects, helping to generate insight from large and complex datasets. You'll build and maintain semantic models, develop data pipelines, create Power BI dashboards and support the creation of reliable reporting and analytics solutions. Working within a Microsoft Fabric environment, you'll help shape data structures, troubleshoot issues and ensure stakeholders have access to meaningful and trusted information.
What experience you'll need to apply:
- Experience in a Senior Analyst, Analytics or Data Analytics role
- Strong SQL and data manipulation experience
- Experience working with Python, ideally using Pandas
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure or modern cloud-based data platforms
- Experience creating semantic models and delivering analytical solutions
- Strong Power BI experience
- Understanding of ETL or ELT processes
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering experience
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Understanding of statistical techniques or predictive analytics would be advantageous
- Experience with Spark or PySpark would be beneficial
