An established PR/communications agency is looking for an experienced Senior Account Director to join its leadership team. This is a hands-on opportunity for a commercially aware communications professional who thrives on building strong client partnerships, delivering impactful campaigns, and helping shape the future of a growing agency. As Senior Account Director, you’ll take ownership of key accounts, influence strategic direction, and play an important role in agency growth. What you’ll be doing
As Senior Account Director, you’ll lead a portfolio of retained clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. You’ll take time to understand client objectives, market challenges, and commercial priorities, then build integrated communications plans that deliver measurable impact. You’ll oversee campaign delivery across media relations, thought leadership, digital content, social campaigns, and reputation-building activity. You’ll identify opportunities to raise client profiles, strengthen media relationships, and ensure work consistently delivers against agreed objectives. Beyond client delivery, you’ll support the continued growth of the agency through business development activity, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, strengthening long-term partnerships, and helping build strategic relationships across the wider market. You’ll also mentor team members, share knowledge, and help maintain high standards across delivery. Your input will directly shape both client success and agency performance.
What experience you’ll need to apply
