Are you an analytical problem solver who enjoys turning data into commercial results? This Pricing Optimisation Analyst opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in shaping pricing and channel strategies within a large-scale vehicle remarketing operation. In this role you will create insights, own optimisation initiatives and manage projects that improve resale performance, pricing effectiveness and operational efficiency. You'll work alongside talented teams in a collaborative environment where innovation and continuous improvement are actively encouraged.
As a Pricing Optimisation Analyst, you will lead and support pricing and channel optimisation initiatives designed to maximise commercial performance. You will analyse data, identify trends and uncover opportunities that improve pricing decisions and channel allocation strategies. Working closely with Pricing, Customer Development, MI, Product and Technology teams, you will deliver insight-driven recommendations that enhance business performance. You will help improve stock selection processes, optimise channel performance and support the development of scalable solutions that increase efficiency. You will also play a role in shaping future pricing capabilities. This includes supporting the exploration of automation, advanced analytics and AI-driven tools that improve decision making. As a Commercial Optimisation Analyst, you will monitor the success of initiatives after implementation, ensuring value is delivered and sustained over time. Strong stakeholder engagement will be essential. You'll communicate findings clearly, influence decision making and build trusted relationships across the business.
What experience you’ll need to apply:
- Previous experience as an Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Pricing Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience identifying opportunities through data-led insight and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of performance drivers.
- Experience within pricing, optimisation, commercial analysis or related disciplines.
- Knowledge of automation, AI or advanced analytical tools would be advantageous.
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is desirable.
