A fintech scale-up helping customers achieve financial independence is looking for a Motion and Video Designer to join the team. This opportunity is all about telling meaningful, compelling stories through design, motion and video. This is a role for a designer keen to use their creative skills to help a purpose‑led brand connect meaningfully with real people.
The successful Designer will sit within a fast‑moving marketing team that blends creativity with insight. You’ll storyboard, shoot and edit content, creating video and motion for social, digital and paid platforms. With direction from a Creative Lead, you’ll shape the organisation’s output from social media reels through to campaign assets.
Using motion design and animation, you’ll transform static assets into dynamic stories, connecting visuals, copy and sound into a single creative idea. Working on ads across multiple formats, including video, static, carousel, display and OOH, you will ensure everything feels emotionally engaging and on brand.
In addition, through building templates, systems and creative libraries, you will allow the team to move faster while staying consistent. This designer will be comfortable travelling to interview customers, attend events, and speak to people to create content. You’ll experiment with new tools and platforms to keep output fresh and effective and future‑focused, while tracking performance and learning what really works.
What experience you’ll need to apply:
- Experience as a Multimedia Designer, Motion Designer, Content Creator, Video Editor or similar.
- Portfolio showing emotionally engaging multimedia creative work.
- Proven experience storyboarding, shooting, and editing video for social and paid channels.
- Solid skills in motion design, animation, or graphic design.
- Experienced using tools such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for editing and animation.
- A natural storyteller, using emotional hooks to drive performance.
What you’ll get in return for your experience:
This mission-led team offers flexible working arrangements, and hybrid working from an office in Bristol (minimum 1 day a week in the office). Benefits include annual bonus, a personal development fund, and considerable scope for progression.
