Solar PV or mechanical/electrical installation experience. They’re dedicated to accelerating the UK’s transition to clean energy, reducing customer costs and future-proofing their energy solutions. This role is onsite in the Bristol area and involves leading a project team across 1kW to 4.5MW installations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead installer responsible for installing solar panels on commercial properties in line with safety regulations and standards.
  • Involved in all stages of installation projects, from inception to completion, including project planning, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Lead a team onsite to deliver high-quality installations and communicate effectively in a calm, professional manner.
  • Assess locations for suitability, measure and mark installation areas, prepare surfaces, mount and install solar panels, maintain accurate records of work and materials, and test systems.
  • Travel to sites as required and maintain flexibility around work hours.

What skills you’ll be needing

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in solar installation or a mechanical, electrical or construction installation role.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Valid driver’s licence (required).
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel when required.
