I am looking for a People Operations Manager to join my client, a Bristol-based biotech developing next-gen IVDs for bloodstream infections.
What you'll be doing?
- Lead and evolve People Operations, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and people-focused.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding, while driving engagement, communications, and performance processes.
- Act as a cultural ambassador, embedding values across the organisation and mentoring others in best practice.
- Oversee recruitment and hiring, ensuring a smooth process and excellent candidate experience.
- Refine policies and processes, identify areas for improvement, and look for opportunities to leverage automation and AI.
- Support cross-functional projects, tool rollouts, and operational initiatives that strengthen how the organisation runs.

- Confidence to own your remit and the judgement to advise on sensitive issues.
- At least four years of People Operations experience, ideally in a startup, backed by CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) and a strong knowledge of UK employment law.
