This is a hands‑on Data Engineer role focused on building and improving data platforms, developing scalable pipelines, and helping the business make better use of its data.
You'll work closely with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, helping translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
What you'll be doing
As a Data Engineer, you'll be designing, developing and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Py Spark.
You'll work across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation through to modelling and delivery.
You'll be involved in building data products, integrating data from multiple source systems and ensuring data is accessible, reliable and fit for purpose.
You'll work within a modern Azure environment and contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation's data platform.
This isn't a role where you'll simply sit behind a desk taking requirements.
You'll spend time working with stakeholders across the business, understanding how data is being used, gathering requirements, troubleshooting challenges and helping shape solutions.
