What you’ll be doing:
- Reporting to the Founders, you’ll work alongside a talented Sales person and Engineers to develop marketing campaigns which increase brand awareness and generate leads. Initially, the focus will be on brand and product awareness.
- We’re looking for an experienced doer, who can also think strategically at a campaign level.
- The Marketing Manager will be able to craft compelling content with the right messaging, taking them away from technical, scientific language and telling the stories their customers will engage with – understanding their target customer’s problems and offering the right solutions.
- You’ll use modern marketing tools (Ai and automation) to help you create content at pace, and you’ll work with third party contractors / partners to help with creative execution – illustration, designers etc.
- You’ll plan and deliver marketing campaigns across digital marketing channels (website content, imagery, video, blogs, webinars, LinkedIn campaigns, SEO, Google Ads), as well as PR, events and exhibitions.
- You’ll work closely with internal teams (Sales and Engineers) to improve tools, workflows, and drive better customer engagement.
- Their audience is global and B2B, spanning but limited to: Researchers and Universities, Government, Service Providers, Remote Sensing, Assets Inspection and Security.
What experience you’ll need to apply:
- Proven track record of success in a B2B Marketing Manager role or equivalent, marketing hardware products to a global audience.
- Knowledge of deep tech / physics / quantum / advanced image processing / science-based innovation / camera-based hardware is highly desirable.
- You’ll be an experienced marketer (probably 3-5 years of experience in marketing, but we’re open on this) and you’ll approach marketing with a test, learn and optimise approach.
- Experience working for an SME or scale-up is preferred, but we’re open.
- A strategic thinker and ideas person.
- Good hands-on marketing skills – including setting up campaigns across a variety of digital channels as outlined above, creating content using Ai and automation, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Growth mindset, ambitious and go-getting. Not afraid to try new things and push boundaries to get the best results.
What you’ll get in return for your experience:
- Competitive salary in the region of £40k-£50k depending on experience plus a 10% bonus based on company performance.
- Hybrid working – 3 days a week in Oxford with occasional travel to Cambridge.
- A dynamic, collaborative and fast-paced work environment in a growing, global company currently at 15 people with 30% year on year growth planned.
- Chance to grow a marketing team in future.
- Excellent opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
- Equity Stock Options so you have some skin in the game.
- Pension and Health Insurance options.
