We're looking for an AI Automation Engineer to join a growing AI and Automation function and build practical AI solutions that are deployed into live business environments. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and technical leaders, helping to create AI agents, workflow automations and scalable technical solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career within a supportive team whilst gaining exposure to new tech.

What you'll be doing:

  • You’ll work with Azure, Copilot Studio, AI Foundry and Power Platform, helping to build solutions that improve efficiency and support digital transformation.
  • The role offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that are delivering genuine operational improvements across the business.

What experience you'll need to apply:

  • Commercial experience building AI, automation or software engineering solutions within an established organisation.
  • At least 12 months of hands‑on experience using Microsoft Copilot Studio in a business environment.
  • Strong Python development and automation experience.
  • Experience working with Power Platform.
  • Experience using Azure and AI Foundry within AI or automation projects.
  • Experience developing workflows, automations and process improvement solutions.
  • Experience contributing to production deployments rather than purely proof of concept work.
  • Exposure to AI agents, LLMs, generative AI or workflow orchestration.
  • Experience within professional services, financial services, insurance or other regulated environments would be beneficial.

What you'll get in return for your experience:

  • A salary of up to £70,000 plus discretionary bonus, alongside hybrid working, flexible benefits, strong learning opportunities and exposure to exciting AI programmes that are transforming how teams work.

Location & Working Pattern:

  • This role can be based from either Birmingham, London or Manchester, with a hybrid working model of around three days per week in the office.
  • The team values collaboration and face‑to‑face interaction whilst still offering flexibility around working patterns.
