I’m supporting a growing integrated marketing agency in hiring an Account Director to strengthen their client services leadership. This Account Director role is also open to a Senior Account Manager who is ready to take the next step. You’ll help shape creative and digital work, manage complex projects, and guide clients across brand, campaigns, content and digital delivery. You’ll work closely with creative, strategy and technical teams to ensure ideas are delivered clearly and with impact. This role suits someone motivated by responsibility, development and long-term client partnerships.
What you’ll be doing
As an Account Director, you’ll lead key client relationships across creative and digital accounts. You’ll set direction, manage expectations, and ensure work delivers against agreed objectives. Your projects will span brand, campaigns, content, websites and performance marketing.
You’ll oversee integrated work from brief through to delivery. This includes planning, budgets, scopes and timelines. You’ll coordinate teams across client services, creative, strategy and tech, ensuring collaboration is clear and structured.
You’ll keep clients informed through regular updates and forward planning. You’ll identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop proposals that reflect the agency’s full creative and digital capability. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to strengthen delivery standards and support team development. This Account Director role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Experience working as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager within an agency.
- Background in an integrated or digitally led creative agency environment.
- Experience delivering creative work across brand, campaigns and content.
- Experience managing digital projects, including website builds and CMS platforms such as Umbraco.
- Understanding of SEO and paid media channels.
- Experience managing budgets, scopes and project pipelines.
- Comfortable working with senior client stakeholders.
- Clear and structured communication skills.
- Experience coordinating creative, strategy and technical teams
What you’ll get in return for your experience
This Account Director role offers a salary of £50,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and level of readiness for the role. You’ll receive 25 days’ holiday plus your birthday off, with additional holiday increasing with tenure. Benefits include a £500 annual training allowance, wellness support, pension and a Headspace subscription. You’ll also have the option to work from anywhere for one week per year. The role is hybrid, with three days per week based in a Bristol studio. Reasonable adjustments and accommodations can be discussed to support individual needs.
