Overview: We are looking for an Assistant to join our Statutory Compliance Team in our highly regarded Accountancy Practice with an outstanding reputation for client satisfaction. This role plays a key part in driving forward the growth of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Statutory Compliance Team.
- Maintenance of clients\' statutory records on our Company Secretarial database.
- Maintain the portfolio of confirmation statements to ensure filing deadlines are met.
- Completion of Company Secretarial tasks including preparation of board minutes, resolutions and forms for filing at Companies House filing to ensure client compliance with the Companies Act 2006.
- Submission of documents to Companies House and HMRC Stamp Office.
- Incorporation of UK companies.
- Liaise and correspond with both clients and individuals across all levels of the firm.
- Billing of clients for services provided.
Personal and Professional Qualities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Prior experience in a statutory compliance support role, preferably within an accounting or professional services environment.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
