We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to join our operational team. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, can lead from the front and is committed to delivering safe, compliant and high quality work for our customers.

As a Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for leading teams on customer sites and within the depot, ensuring all planned and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You will also play a vital part in promoting our services, identifying opportunities and supporting the smooth running of operations.

More about the role:

  • Lead and manage operational teams on site and in the depot, ensuring all tasks and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance in line with RAMS, reporting any breaches immediately and providing full incident reports.
  • Manage teams during spill response and HAZMAT operations, delivering clear workscopes and on-site leadership for both colleagues and clients.
  • Provide job progress updates, including programme amendments and cost/margin analysis.
  • Support project preparation, including job packs and RAMS, working closely with the Operations Manager.
  • Arrange and resource equipment, plant and vehicles required for works.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment (where suitably qualified), ensuring all checks are completed and recorded.
  • Ensure all plant, equipment and vehicles are cleaned, maintained and defects reported promptly.
  • Liaise with customers on site, discussing ongoing works and promoting wider Group services.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and submit to management in a timely manner.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and ensure daily paperwork is collated and processed.
  • Maintain a tidy depot environment and ensure assets are serviced and ready for use.
  • Deputise for colleagues, including the Operations Manager, when required.
  • Participate in the on-call Duty Manager rota.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of emergency spill response.
  • Previous experience supervising/managing on-site teams and projects.
  • Experience completing RAMS documentation.
  • IOSH Managing and SSSTS are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work away from home when required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to undertaking additional training as needed.
