The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.
This role is responsible for ensuring the finance function delivers exceptional business partnering across all functions including Field Services, Sales, Operations and R&D functions. This includes developing and distributing effective internal reporting in a timely manner, feeding into periodical group reporting as required. Confidence in dealing with all levels of personnel across the wider business and with Group Finance is essential.
More about the role:
- Ownership of the monthly management accounts to gross margin level
- Timely and accurate internal weekly reporting
- Timely and accurate fortnightly and ad-hoc Group reporting
- Ongoing understanding of Stock movements, working with the business to resolve issues and making proposals to improve process and understanding.
- Partnering the sales team to fully understand pipeline opportunities for inclusion in forecasts, assisting with costings and understanding margin for tenders.
- Sales reporting to group
- Compliance to Group financial policies
- Assist in the creation of and tracking against annual Budgets and forecasts to gross profit level, ensuring all functions understand their ongoing performance against those targets.
- Month end tasks pertaining to creation of the monthly management accounts, working with the rest of the Finance team and relevant business functions to ensure accurate reporting.
- Business partnering R&D, Operations, and Field service teams to maintain full business insight to inform periodic forecasts and work with those teams on delivery of key initiatives and business process improvements.
- Involvement in new ERP implementation to ensure a smooth transition.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience of working in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate creating strong cross-functional relationships.
- Strength in understanding business systems and processes, with experience of successfully implementing process improvements.
- Experience of working with Sage 200 and/or IFS
- Studying towards or qualified CIMA qualification
