Here at Alder and Allan we are looking for an HGV Operative to join our ever-growing team!
About the role:
You will thrive within our expanding Rainham depot undertaking duties such as:
- High pressure water jetting
- Clean-up of spills / fly tips and other industrial services
- Remediation and general groundworks
- Tank cleaning and decommissioning
- Spill response
- Industrial cleaning duties
- Surface preparation and spray lining
Your responsibilities may also include:
- Welding and Fabrication
- Interceptor and storage tank installs, servicing, inspections (Including OFTEC)
- Investigate and remediate issues with Tank and interceptor vessels, pump and probe systems
- Remedial report issuing for Tank and interceptor vessels and pump and probe systems
The HGV2 licence is a key skill that can be utilised as and when required; the role will be predominantly based around spill response and reactive works. For clarity, the Tanker role is an ad hoc requirement, but is part of the key skills required.
About you:
Previous experience of operating in a similar role / environment would be highly advantageous. A willingness to work in an environment of change, dealing with various challenges is essential.
