Service Technician required for Adler & Allan in Brize Norton, England. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary plus benefits.
The Service Technician will operate independently or as part of a team, working alongside other Technicians to fulfil works for major oil companies and independent customers. Responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the operation of various departments within the division, including Vapour Recovery and Tank & Line Testing, De-Watering fuel tanks, and forecourt maintenance and compliance auditing.
- Identifying root causes of problems and providing customers with long-term solutions.
- Performing tank and line testing, VR testing, and tank dewatering.
- Responding to call outs for critical issues.
- Acting as site supervisor/lead operative when required, including attending site briefings and acting as team leader.
- Carrying out near miss and potential incident reporting.
- Liaising with customers on site regarding ongoing works and further services.
- Maintaining a clean vehicle and ensuring all equipment, tools, PPE, and other work items are in good order and available for use.
- Completing all works in a timely manner, including paperwork submission to divisional supervision.
- Recommending improvements and undertaking any other duties for which the Service Engineer is qualified.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a clean UK driving licence, categories to operate Company vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Experience working on and around Petrol Forecourts.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Previous knowledge and experience of completing RAMS documentation (advantageous).
- Willingness to undertake additional training to increase capability.
