Are you looking to start a career within the thriving EV and Electrical Sector? This role of Junior Estimator will provide on-the-job training from scratch and will involve working on a varied range of projects from LV/HV connections to full onsite builds and installations. You will assist in multiple tender enquiries across a number of different clients. Graduates looking to get into an estimator role are welcome to apply.

More About The Role

Working with the Estimator & Senior Electrical Estimator to support the delivery of high-quality estimates and tenders. Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluation of tender enquiry documentation received from clients to ensure all relevant/correct information has been provided.
  • Reviewing tender information received and outlining scope to accurately tender the scheme.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with existing clients as well as developing new relationships.
  • Attending Pre-Construction meetings with Operations & Project Management team when bids are successful and POs are issued.
  • Requesting asset values from IDNO partners in relation to the scope of the project.
  • Measuring designs using either PDF or Google Maps to ensure accurate take-offs are recorded.
  • Ensuring internal tendering trackers are kept up to date.
  • Checking client feedback from tenders that are ongoing and completed.
  • Setting up new projects on our SharePoint.

This is an entry-level trained role, open to graduates looking to start in estimating.
