We are seeking a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Service Engineer to play a crucial role in delivering the technical aspects across a broad spectrum of engineering, supporting the Operations delivery teams and undertaking roles involving the servicing of environmental protection equipment. You will be key to technical proposals/solutions for clients, ensuring that delivery is executed according to relevant standards and good practice guidance.

- Audit sites to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards and specifications, client expectations and sound safety practices are observed.
- Promote safety to ensure we operate a safe and professional service.
- Be able to problem solve and resolve issues on site.
- Assist in the delivery of interceptor installations, de-commissioning, and servicing.
- Continually assess and ensure day to day operations and service delivery is of the highest quality, accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare scope of works documents, risk assessments and method statements.
- Operating Company vehicles which the post holder is suitably qualified to operate.
- Preparation of estimates and proposals to clients following site surveys.
- Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to depot and group management.

About you:
- Basic knowledge of single and three-phase motors.
- Knowledge of separator/interceptor systems.
- Possess an understanding of relevant standards and good practice, BS EN 858-2:2003 Separator systems for light liquids and BS EN 1825 for Grease separators is preferable.
- Basic knowledge of electrical control panels.
- Knowledge of Sewage Treatment plants and pumping stations.
- Possess knowledge and experience of issuing and completing RAMS documentation.
- Possess a sound engineering knowledge.
- A willingness to work in an environment of change, dealing with emergency works is essential.
- Due to the nature of the role a flexible approach to working hours, travel and working days is required.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and E Mail; must be able to prepare and present reports using such applications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to undertake additional training as required to meet the needs of the depot/group.
- Right to Work in the UK.
Desirable to Hold:
- 18th Edition wiring regulations – BS7671.
- Electrical or mechanical competencies – Level 2/3/NVQ or equivalent.
