The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

We are looking for dedicated Civils Operatives to join our dynamic and responsive Reactive Civils Team, based in Devon. Operating from our Greendale depot in Exeter, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across our other depots in Plympton, St Austell, and Yelland.

Responsibilities

  • Perform drainage repairs and installations under the guidance of an experienced Ganger.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Work hours: 0700 – 1700, with participation in an on‑call rota when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, and ready to make an impact.
  • Previous experience in utility work, especially sewer repairs and maintenance, is highly desirable.
  • Valid driving licence and CSCS card are a definite plus.
  • Experience in excavations (manual and machine‑assisted, including deep excavations).
  • Street works and highway excavation experience.
  • Manual handling, abrasive wheels, and use of Cat & Genny equipment.
