The role will include:
- Supervising others to undertake various tasks whilst also delivering their own programme/projects.
- Planning and supervising various surveys.
- Building hydraulic models.
- Verification of hydraulic models.
- Analysing results using a variety of software packages including Excel.
- Generating plans using Mapinfo.
- Solution modelling.
- Auditing the work of others (both internal and external).
Other responsibilities will include:
- Report writing.
- Engaging with clients either on the phone or via email.
- Attendance at meetings with clients.
- Supervising and checking the work of more junior members of staff.
- Project management.
- Checking and approving reports and outputs.
- Costing.
- Health & Safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant degree or other qualification supplemented by appropriate experience.
- 6+ years practical experience in the wastewater hydraulic modelling field.
- Extensive technical understanding of ICM / Infoworks both 1D and 2D and associated software.
- People and project management skills.
- Member of appropriate professional body.
