As a Junior/Graduate Engineer, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of complex drainage maintenance and cleaning works.
This role involves assisting project managers, supervising site teams, working with specialist equipment, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard.
More about the role:- Assist in surveying, inspecting, and assessing complex drainage assets.
- Support planning and delivery of complex maintenance and cleaning operations.
- Operate or assist with specialist equipment such as jetting units, CCTV survey, and pumping equipment.
- Collect and analyse site data to support engineering decisions.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- HNC/HND/Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work safely in challenging environments.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-specific technologies.
- Basic understanding of civil/drainage engineering principles.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and engineering software packages such as Autodesk (desirable).
